The Adventure Racing World Championship 2006 will reach above the Arctic Circle in a course that will challenge all participants.

The 2006 edition of the Adventure Racing World Championship will be staged in the land of the Sami people and the midnight sun. The Adventure Racing World Championship 2006 will reach above the Arctic Circle in a course that will challenge all participants.

The area is famous for its wild nature. Breathtaking views, strikingly beautiful fjords in the North Sea, fed from untamed white water rivers originating at the base of spectacular glaciers. You will discover caves that have survived the Ice Age, extreme wilderness and total freedom.

Teams consisting of the absolute best endurance athletes in the world qualified through the AR World Series will compete in one of the toughest competitions on earth, The Adventure Racing World Championship.

Southern Lapland in Sweden and Nordland in Norway are happy to host the 2006 event.
